Integrated Reception Systems (IRS)

What is IRS?

A communal system, or IRS, provides multi-point distribution of 'future proofed' satellite and digital TV, including Sky+, SkyHD, foreign language satellite channels and Freeview to a range of multi-occupancy buildings such as residential developments, hospitals, office blocks and hotels.

IRS offers the full range of satellite, TV and radio services to the end user without the need for hundreds of individual dishes that ruin the aesthetics of the property, and offers a reduction to the risk of physical damage to the building.

How we can help you

TVAV Installations works closely with building contractors, property developers and managing agents to design, supply, install and implement full IRS systems to the desired specification.

Once we have installed and configured the IRS, each individual end user i.e. flat, office, retail unit etc. will be ready to receive the selected digital or satellite television service, but it is up to each individual to provide their own set-top box, be it a Freeview, Freesat or Sky unit.

As part of our ongoing service commitment, TVAV Installations offer each developer, contractor or managing agents a free Customer Care line that they can send to each end user and we will provide advice and assistance for any issues they may encounter.

TVAV Installations also offer a full upgrade service. This involves a site visit to evaluate your property and an assessment of what can be done to make sure your system is compatible with the latest development in digital television viewing.

• Only one aerial and dish is required for all residents. All wiring is also internal which makes the exterior of the building more cosmetically attractive.
